SHAMANISM

A Spiritual Tradition Over 40,000 Years Old

Long before religions were organized, and on every continent, there were shamans. They practiced a form of direct experience and revelation that dates back more than 40,000 years. They served in a unique capacity that combined skills of a psychologist, spiritual adviser, healer, philosopher, and friend.

In Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia (where the term “shaman” originated), they used rituals, tools, and wisdom to provide guidance and healing for the people of their tribes.

While their magic was largely lost to the world with the progress of science and technology, the spark of that fire never completely went out.

Modern day shamanic practitioners have reached back through time to reclaim these practices and integrate them with our contemporary lives.

Shamans see subtle energy patterns that cause difficulty and pain. Under their wise direction, people can learn to quickly shift their perspective, remove stubborn inner blockages, and step into lives of ease, flow, and real magic.

Join us in Sedona & experience it for yourself!

Toltec Celestial Practices

Working with the Sun, Moon, and Sacred Winds

Friday, May 1st

9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

The ancient Toltecs understood that we exist in dynamic relationship with the celestial bodies and elemental forces that surround us. Join José Luis Stevens for a day of powerful practices that align you with the natural rhythms of sun, moon, earth, and elements to accelerate your spiritual growth and amplify your personal power.

You'll explore:

  • Lunar Cycle Practices: Harness the distinct energies of all the phases of the moon for intention-setting, releasing, and personal renewal. Learn the special finger and hand movements that work with each phase to extract and heal.
  • Sun Energizing: Draw the sun's vitalizing force into your body through embodied practices that flood you with breath, warmth, light, and renewed strength.
  • Earth Energy Practices: Learn the Toltec practice of working with flowers to transform yourself and the world. Harness the powers of the creative forces and destructive forces of the earth to manifest and release.
  • West Wind Cleansing: Call upon the cleansing power of the west wind to clear stagnant energy and release what no longer serves you.
  • The Power of the Four Fires: Call upon the little boy fire to energize you, the cooking fire to balance you, the ceremonial fire to help you pray.
  • Gathering Universal Energy: Learn the Toltec practice of embracing Earth, moon, sun, and cosmos, then channeling that energy through your body's centers.
  • And more

Drawing from his ten-year apprenticeship with Wixarika shamans in the mountains of Mexico and decades of studying with indigenous teachers across the globe, José Luis will guide you through practices that shamans have used for millennia to work with celestial and elemental forces.

These practices are simple to perform yet produce powerful results. They require no special equipment and can be integrated into your daily life long after you return home. Come prepared to move, breathe, and open yourself to the extraordinary energies that have been supporting shamanic practitioners for thousands of years.

Awaken Your Elemental Power

A Sacred Journey Through the Four Elements of Transformation

Friday, May 1st

9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

What if the elements that sustain your life could also guide your deepest transformation? Join bestselling author and Toltec wisdom keeper HeatherAsh Amara for a beautiful one-day journey into the Four Elements of Change, an ancient shamanic path that has guided seekers for thousands of years.

You'll explore:

  • Air: The Art of Seeing Clearly—perceive yourself and the world with fresh vision
  • Fire: The Art of Cleansing—release old patterns and reclaim your vital energy
  • Water: The Art of Opening—create space for healing and flow with change
  • Earth: The Art of Nourishment—discover what truly feeds your soul

We are not separate from the cycles of nature or from the elements that sustain us: the air we breathe, the fire of our energy, the waters that flow through us, the earth of our bodies. When we learn to work with these elements, they guide us back to our authentic center and show us how to navigate change with grace and clarity.

Through meditation, ceremony, breathwork, and experiential practices, you'll learn powerful techniques like recapitulation to gather scattered energy, elemental visualizations to balance your mind, emotions, spirit, and body, and ways to honor the cycles of change in your daily life.

HeatherAsh's teachings blend the wisdom of her apprenticeship with don Miguel Ruiz and shamanic lineages from around the world, offering you practical tools for lasting transformation. Whether you're new to this work or deepening an existing practice, you'll leave with clear practices to continue your journey long after the workshop ends.

Walking the Ancient Inka Path in Modern Times

Ancient Wisdom Meets Our Present Moment

Sunday, May 3rd

1:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Join Peruvian shaman Jorge Luis Delgado for this transformative workshop where ancient wisdom meets our present moment of global change. As a chakaruna (a spiritual bridge person in the Andean tradition), Jorge carries forward ancestral teachings that are more relevant than ever.

Discover:

  • Practices and principles that our ancestors used to maintain harmony between humans and the natural world
  • How the physical and spiritual realms are one—no separation between your daily life and sacred purpose
  • Your role as a Child of the Sun in this time of transformation
  • How to evolve alongside the Earth herself through transformation of the heart

In Jorge's tradition, the physical and spiritual realms are one. There is no separation between your daily life and your sacred purpose. Right now, Mother Earth and Father Sun are calling us to remember what the ancients knew: that we are all Children of the Sun, and we each carry a vital role in this time of transformation.

The profound shifts happening across our planet represent an invitation to evolve alongside the Earth herself. Jorge will show you that this evolution is a transformation of the heart that returns us to our essence as beings of light.

Come discover how these ancient Andean teachings can guide you through our transformational times with wisdom, purpose, and an open heart.

Moon Medicine Ceremony: The 13 Moons and Flower Moon

Sunday, May 3rd

1:30 PM - 5:00 PM

The Anishinaabe people have always lived by the rhythm of Grandmother Moon. Her 13 cycles guide us through the year, each moon carrying its own teachings, stories, and Medicine. This May afternoon falls during Flower Moon (Waawaaskone Giizis), when the plant world bursts into fullest expression and we are called to do the same.

Experience:

  • Introduction to the 13 Moon teachings of the Anishinaabe calendar and how Grandmother Moon guides you through cycles of growth, rest, and transformation
  • Turtle Medicine activation to connect with the wisdom of the lunar calendar carried on Turtle's shell: 13 markings for the 13 moons, 28 for the days between each full moon
  • Flower Moon legend: How the seeds found courage to journey upward through the soil toward Grandfather Sun
  • Butterfly Medicine journey to retrieve your "Soul Gold," the wisdom gained from your struggles that has become your greatest gift
  • Sacred Flower Moon ceremony to honor your transformation and the gifts you carry

Join Asha Frost, Ojibwe Medicine Woman and bestselling author of You Are the Medicine, for an afternoon immersed in Indigenous moon wisdom. You'll learn how the lunar calendar reflects the cyclical nature of seasons, life, and our own inner rhythms.

Through the specific teachings of Flower Moon, you'll explore how your lived experience (including your pain, your sensitivity, your struggles) has cracked open aspects of yourself waiting to bloom. Through storytelling, ceremony, and somatic practices, you'll learn to trust your imaginal cells: the blueprint of who you are becoming, even when everything feels uncertain.

This workshop honors the sacred truth that transformation requires dissolving. Like a Caterpillar in a chrysalis, you'll learn to trust the uncertain moments when everything falls apart as essential preparation for flight.

You'll leave with an understanding of how to work with the moon cycles in your own life and a deep knowing that your presence, your voice, and your natural gifts change lives. Flower Moon invites you to remember: You already carry everything you need to bloom.
