A 4-Week LIVE Group Learning Experience with Medical Herbalist & Shamanic Practitioner Wendy Dooner

Sundays, March 8th - 29th, 2026

There’s a kind of exhaustion that goes deeper than tired.

You’ve spent years looking after everyone else. Putting yourself last. Pushing through when your body asked you to stop.

And now your body is asking louder.

Maybe it’s physical signals you can’t ignore anymore. Maybe it’s a feeling of being disconnected from yourself.

Maybe you just know something needs to change.

You were taught to override your body. To push through your cycle, your fatigue, your knowing. To keep going no matter what.

But there is a different way.

For thousands of years, there have been herbs specifically for women’s bodies.

Plants named after Artemis, the goddess who protected women through every transition.

Mugwort, called “Mater Herbarum” or Mother of All Herbs. Hawthorn, wild woman of the hedgerows, used for centuries to bring clarity to the heart.

They grow in hedgerows and gardens. They’ve been supporting women through every threshold for centuries.

The woman you used to be is still in there. These plants are here to help you return to her.

I don’t feel like the same person I was 2 months ago. I’m more confident, grounded, and clear about how to care for myself.

Wendy doesn’t just teach herbs – she teaches trust in your own body.

— Jenni V

“My hormones were all over the place after my third child, some days I was nonfunctional.

Wendy helped me feel like myself again. Her depth of knowledge is phenomenal.”

—Maryan W.

With Wendy as Your Guide, You Will:

After Week 1, I cried. The plant spirit journey was so clear, so REAL ,that I couldn’t dismiss it anymore.

By Week 4, I was literally talking to the roses in my garden and they were answering.

I sound crazy saying that, but I don’t care anymore. I know what I know.”Sarah

“Wendy is more than a teacher, she’s a true guide. Her clinical expertise gave me clarity, and her plant wisdom helped me heal in ways I didn’t know were possible.”

—Daniella S.

Week 1: Reconnecting With Your Body + Meeting Your Plant Ally

Sunday, March 8

Themes:

  • Returning to your body after years of overriding it
  • Introduction to mugwort (Artemisia) and its ancient connection to women's health
  • Meeting your plant ally for this season of your life
  • Opening to what your body has been trying to tell you

Focus:

We begin by coming back into your body. For many women, this is unfamiliar territory after years of pushing through, ignoring signals, and putting everyone else first.

Wendy teaches three simple rituals of reconnection that ground you in your body and attune your senses.

Then you'll take your first plant spirit journey to meet your ally. Mugwort, whose Latin name Artemisia honours the goddess who protected women through every transition. And hawthorn, used for centuries to support the heart and bring clarity.

Practice:

Live guided plant spirit journey. Nature observation walk with the question: "What is my body noticing?" Journal what you observe.

Week 2: The Sensory Tea Ceremony + Being Witnessed

Sunday, March 15

Themes:

  • Deep listening to your body through the senses
  • How plants communicate through taste, sensation, and feeling
  • Being witnessed by other women on this path
  • Building trust in your own experience

Focus:

You'll share your Week 1 experiences with the circle. This is where you realise you're not alone and that every woman receives plant wisdom in different ways.

Wendy introduces the Spirit Monograph, a collaborative document of plant wisdom that your cohort will create together. One monograph for each herb (mugwort and hawthorn).

Then she teaches the sensory tea ceremony, a practice of deep attention to colour, aroma, taste, sensation, emotion, and insight. A way of letting the plant speak directly to your body.

Homework:

Your own sensory tea ceremony during the week with hawthorn. Fill out the experience template that feeds into the Spirit Monograph.

Week 3: Drawing Meditation + Receiving Wisdom Through the Body

Sunday, March 22

Themes:

  • Bypassing the analytical mind
  • Allowing wisdom to come through your hands
  • Trusting what you receive
  • Seeing your experiences reflected in other women's wisdom

Focus:

You'll share your tea ceremony experiences and watch as Wendy weaves them into the Spirit Monograph alongside the voices and wisdom of your cohort.

Then you'll learn drawing as a way to communicate with plants. Artistic skill is irrelevant here. As you draw with focused attention, something opens. Wisdom flows in ways that bypass the part of you that second-guesses everything.

Practice:

Spend 20-30 minutes drawing your plant ally with music. Share any messages or insights that came through.

Week 4: Folk Tincture Making + Taking This Forward

Sunday, March 29

Themes:

  • Making medicine with your own hands
  • The herbal actions of mugwort and hawthorn for women's bodies
  • Honouring the transition from one season to the next
  • Continuing this relationship beyond the course

Focus:

The practical culmination. Wendy teaches you the folk tincture method, a simple template you can use with any herb for the rest of your life.

You'll make your tincture together, live. You'll learn what your body needs as it moves through seasonal transitions and how mugwort and hawthorn support that process.

You'll receive the completed Spirit Monograph, created by your circle.

Practice:

Make your folk tincture during the session. Label it. Set it to steep for a moon cycle.

Addressing Your Quiet Concerns

"I'm exhausted. Will this be another thing that drains me?"

Wendy created this course specifically for women who are running on empty. The practices are gentle and grounding. They’re designed to fill you up, not deplete you further. You can come exactly as you are. There’s no expectation to perform or get it right.

"Will this actually help with what my body is going through?"

Mugwort and hawthorn have been used for centuries to support women’s bodies through times of transition. You’ll learn the actual herbal actions of these plants, how they work physically, and how to make medicine with your own hands. This is practical, usable knowledge alongside the spiritual connection.

"What if I can't connect with plants? What if nothing happens for me?"

Something always happens. You might be expecting a dramatic vision, but plants speak through subtle sensations, emotional shifts, and quiet knowing. Wendy will teach you how to recognise these subtler forms. And you’ll be in a circle of women having their own experiences, which helps you trust yours.
